The third major release from Boston's own King's of Nuthin' tearing it up through both originals and covers in their unique blend of punk, swing, and early rock n roll. Lead singer Torr Skoog sounds like a cross between Tom Waits, Dicky Barrett, and Dave Mustaine. Their songwriting is top notch. The album's opener "Over the Counter Culture" is a great, high energy sing along that is a crowd favorite during their live shows. It's very hard to describe the sound of The Kings. They get lumped into the rockabilly category because they have an upright bass player and a few songs about hot rods. On the other hand, to call them
